To date, Mario has sold more than a billion dollars worth of properties to customers the world over. Mario started his career after earning a B.A. in Real Estate from Florida State University. Upon completion of the degree, Carey was discovered by Bay Area Appraisal Services in Tampa where he quickly became the top performer for seven years straight. Prior to successfully completing the Bahamas Real Estate Association (BREA) salesperson course in March 2010, Lamond completed the Trust Law and Administration Certificate Stage I courses and was offered a scholarship from STEP Bahamas to complete the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (S.T.E.P.) International diploma courses. This opportunity launched his career in International Wealth Management. However, after a chance encounter with Mario Carey, Lamond changed the course of his career and is now well on his way to becoming one of Nassau?s finest realtors. Nancy E. Knowles - Office Associate
As the Office Associate for Mario Carey Realty, Nancy Knowles brings a wealth of experience to the MCR administrative team. Nancy hails from a background in banking, customer service, inventory control, purchasing, merchandising and office management. Most importantly, Nancy has worked in the real estate industry in a managerial capacity for over 10 years. With several professional certifications including Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks, Nancy?s diverse knowledge base has proven invaluable to MCR.
Matt. D. Sweeting - Sales Associate
A licensed real estate salesperson and a member of the Bahamas Real Estate Association (BREA) for more than three years, Matt Sweeting brings his talent and experience as a valuable member of the MCR team. He prides himself on customer service and reliability, stating that these are some of the key attributes that set him apart from the competition. Matt knows that continuing education is what keeps professionals at the top of their game, and for that reason he completed the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), the At Home With Diversity (AHWD) course, the CRS 210 (Business Planning & Marketing) course, and the CRS 200 (Listing Course). In addition, Matt has attained certifications in Graphic Arts, and has completed the Adobe Certified Expert course.
Julie Cleare - Sales Associate
In 2007, Julie successfully completed and obtained her Real estate license. Immediately after she started working with Lowes Realty as a sales agent from 2007 to 2009. For a period of six months Julie worked in Harbour Island obtaining experience in the short term rental market. She now joins MCR team in October of 2010.
She has successfully completed the CRS 201 listing course and CRS 200 business planning and marketing course and is well on her way to pursing her Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and Bahamas Realtors Institute (BRI) designation.
